Swedish surgeons have an annual meeting to update themselves on the latest developments. Swedish colorectal surgeon Susanne Tumlin Eklund was among the organisers for the last meeting in Norrköping, and for the first time included a session on endometriosis to encourage more Swedish colorectal surgeons to support their gynaecological colleagues in the management of severe deep infiltrating endometriosis affecting the bowel. Peter Barton-Smith spoke along with Malin Brunes about endometriosis and its management with robotic surgery.
