Mr Barton-Smith is active in lecturing and teaching other specialists in endometriosis and complex benign gynaecology. These courses are aimed at advancing other gynaecologists in their understanding of advanced anatomy and techniques to manage severe endometriosis. Currently he runs the following courses:
Intuitive Surgical Procedure Refinement Course for robotic hysterectomy and severe endometriosis at Descartes University in Paris
ORSI course in complex robotic benign gynaecology procedures including severe endometriosis at the OLV Robotic Surgery Institute in Belgium
